Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) mocked the BJP-led Centre over the falling value of Indian rupee on December 4, posting a 2013 video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi (then Gujarat chief minister), who had blamed the “mis-governance and corruption” of the UPA government for the weakening of the currency at that time.

In the video, Modi can be seen asking why the only the value of rupee against US dollar kept falling. “This has not happened because of the economic policies but because of the corrupt politics being run from Delhi,” Modi can be seen making the remarks in the video.
