Karisma Kapoor, one of the leading names in Hindi cinema during the 1990s, demonstrated notable professionalism during the filming of a song sequence in the film Biwi No. 1 . While working with costume designer Ashley Rebello, Kapoor experienced an unexpected mishap her metal dress caused, but she chose to complete the shoot without delay.

Rebello, who worked on the costumes for the film, spoke to Galatta India in an interview about the incident. He explained, "We were doing a song in Biwi No. 1 where I gave Karisma a metal dress, and while she was doing her steps, the metal pricked her, and she was bleeding throughout. I spotted red coming on to the gold dress." This led to immediate concern among the crew as they noticed blood on Kapoor's outfit.
