A Bengaluru man revealed his society’s shocking restriction on bringing guests to their residence overnight with an online post on Wednesday, December 3. Taking to Reddit, the local Bengaluru resident said he and his flatmate were fined Rs 5,000 by the society authorities after “two girls stayed overnight" with them.

The man shared a screenshot of the invoice raised by the society, demanding that the amount be paid to the authorities. The Bengaluru guy wondered if any legal action could be taken against the society officials for their unfair and illegal practice.
