OXFORD, Ohio — An investigation is underway after antisemitic and racist graffiti was found in a residence hall at Miami University.
The graffiti was found in Tappan Hall. One of the messages was found on the door of a residence, while two other messages were found in a communal bathroom.
“This deplorable behavior is a direct contradiction of our values and the welcoming community we strive to be at Miami. We unequivocally condemn these acts of hate,” Miami University’s Dean of Students BaShaun Smith said, according to WLWT Channel 5 . “Please be aware that if you are responsible for writing these hateful messages, we are committed to investigating fully and utilizing every resource available to hold you accountable under the university’s conduct policies.”
