GM Vidyanikethan Public School hosts AICS annual conference

Brahmavar, Dec 4: GM Vidyaniketan Public School hosted the 9th Annual AICS Conference on the theme “Nurturing value-based skills in children for the schools of the future” for principals of CBSE and ICSE schools from Udupi and Mangaluru districts.

The conference was inaugurated by professor Mathew C Ninan, director of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar, who lit the lamp and addressed the gathering. He stated that values cannot be taught to children through lessons alone. He expressed concern about the increasing use of inappropriate language among children today and stressed that principals hold a major responsibility in guiding both students and teachers appropriately. He urged everyone to instil empathy in young minds.
