Mamata Banerjee strongly criticised the BJPs Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. She stated that many Hindus had died in SIR-related incidents and issued a warning to the BJP. Banerjee vowed to prevent the implementation of the NRC and detention camps in Bengal. She assured protection for Waqf properties and the rights of minorities. Banerjee also debunked rumours suggesting that religious sites had been incorrectly recorded.
