The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has shared all the cost of living financial support available specifically for people over State Pension age . Pensions Minister Torsten Bell said the Department is “committed to helping pensioners with the cost of living and ensuring financial security in retirement”. ‌

His comments came in a written response to Tory MP Sir Andrew Mitchell, who asked about cost of living help for residents in his Sutton Coldfield constituency. However, the additional financial help he listed is a good checklist for pensioners across the country to make sure they are not missing out on extra cash, or benefits, especially at this time of year. ‌
