Srinagar|Dec, 4 : Police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday registered an FIR against a local hotel in Pahalgam for alleged violations of the Immigration and Foreigners Act.
The FIR was registered after authorities found the establishment had failed to properly record and report the details of foreign guests staying at the tourist resort.
Police said that during routine inspections of hotels and guest accommodations in the Rafting Point area, a team from Police Station Pahalgam conducted checks to verify compliance with legal and security regulations.
