COLUMBUS, Ohio — With the single-digit wind chills expected Friday morning, warming centers at several community centers in Columbus can offer a respite from the cold.

and Columbus Recreation and Parks community centers are also open to the public as safe places to get out of the cold during normal business hours, according to the Community Shelter Board.
