With the cost of everything from housing to utility bills to groceries going up, the last thing America’s families can afford is more expensive health care. But during Marketplace open enrollment under the Affordable Care Act, millions of families are learning that their health care costs will surge.

Health care premiums for next year will double or triple without subsidies — an increase too many families can't afford.

The $ 1 trillion in Medicaid cuts made by Republicans this past summer puts care at risk for children, seniors, people with disabilities and especially rural communities.
