2Man arrested after waving knife at victims in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC — A 42-year-old man was taken into custody Tuesday evening after allegedly threatening victims with a knife during a disturbance in Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. on December 2 in the 200 block of Q Street NE. Officers from the Fifth District responded to reports of a disorderly individual armed with a knife. Upon arrival, one of the victims informed police that the suspect had produced a knife and waved it in their direction in a threatening manner.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Campbell of Northeast DC, was arrested at the scene without further incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
