With no winners on Wednesday, the Powerball jackpot has rolled to become the eighth-largest prize in game history ahead of the weekend drawing.

The jackpot is worth an estimated $820 million, with a cash value of $383.5 million. It has not been won since Sept. 6, when two winning tickets sold in Missouri and in Texas split a $1.787 billion prize.

Lottery players in Massachusetts have won multiple lower-tier prizes during drawings over the past weekend and during the week. This includes four $50,000 prizes won across the state between the drawings held last Saturday and on Wednesday.

The next Powerball drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets cost $2 each and can be purchased at Massachusetts State Lottery retailers across the state until 9:50 p.m. Saturday.
