Adilabad: Erstwhile Adilabad saw 2,730 nominations to 514 gram panchayats notified for polls under the second phase on Wednesday.

Officials said that 846 nominations were filed from 156 panchayats in Adilabad district, while 573 nominations were received for 114 panchayats in Mancherial district. As many as 574 nominations were filed for 131 panchayats in Nirmal district and 737 nominations were submitted for 113 panchayats in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district.
