Theater chain AMC Entertainment said on Thursday that Chief Executive Officer Adam Aron will continue in his role after suffering a minor stroke last month.
Aron, 71, had a stroke on November 17 in London, the company said, adding that he has been working full time following his release from the hospital.
Aron has resumed his duties as chairman, CEO and president. There was no indication of loss of cognitive function related to his ability to process complex information, his memory, or his written communications, the company added.
He did, however, experience an initial slurring of speech. Aron has started speech therapy and is expected to make a full recovery, AMC said.
He returned to the United States
