BENGALURU: A police head constable has been accused of stealing Rs 11 lakh from the car of a suspect in a cybercrime case which was parked on the police commissioner’s office premises.

The suspect, who was arrested in a cybercrime case, had kept the money in his car. When he was brought to the police station for questioning, head constable Zabiullah allegedly stole the cash.

Meanwhile, the suspect was arrested and sent to jail by Police Inspector Umesh and team. After he came out on bail, the suspect found the cash missing from his car and questioned the cyber crime police. When they checked the CCTV cameras, it was revealed that Zabiullah had stolen the bag containing the cash.
