Anantnag- Police in Anantnag have registered an FIR against a local hotel for violating key provisions of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, after it was found to have concealed the stay of two foreign nationals.

The action followed routine inspections carried out by a police team from Police Station Pahalgam in the Rafting Point area, where hotels and guest accommodations were checked for compliance with legal and security protocols. During the inspection, officials discovered that Hotel Golden Heritage, located at Rafting Point, Yenner, had accommodated two citizens of Thailand. However, the hotel management had failed to report their stay through the mandatory online Form C—required for the registration and reporting of foreign guests.
