After operating along South Woodlands Village Boulevard for nearly two decades, Papa Murphy’s closed permanently this past weekend.
According to a sign posted on the door, Papa Murphy’s had begun “forcing franchises to sell pizza at or below cost” in order to address declining sales. The note continued on, adding, “When we brought this issue up with our representative, we were told that ‘if lower-volume stores can’t hang at the new price point, they’ll have to close.’” Copy article link Sign up for our newsletters
