Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Russian President Vladimir Putin at Delhi’s Palam airport on Thursday evening. Over the years, he personally welcomed several foreign dignitaries at airports as a special gesture.

On February 17 this year, PM Modi went to the Indira Gandhi International Airport as a special gesture to receive the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, during his two-day visit.
