Conservative commentator Steven Crowder stirred a row during a conversation about H-1B visas when he said: If India has so many bright and talented people, why do they come to the United States instead of making India an “America No. 2.” In a talk with a young man, Crowder said that if H-1B visas are so great, then why does “India still look like India?” The youth asked, “Look like India? What do you mean?” Crowder then described India in a sly way, calling it a poor and backwards country where people lack basic healthcare and necessities, where diseases still exist that developed nations eradicated, and where hundredes and thousands die from "snake bites."
