GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Arena League has selected Grand Island to become a new market, bringing professional indoor football back to the city’s Heartland Events Center for the first time since 2019.
NFL Hall of Famer, Heisman Trophy winner and Arena League Commissioner Tim Brown will visit Grand Island Thursday for a press conference announcing the team’s return and to meet with fans.
Brown is a former Notre Dame standout who played 17 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Oakland Raiders.
The press conference will be at noon followed by the 2 p.m. fan meet-and-greet event. Both events will take place on the main arena floor at the Heartland Events Center.
