BELAGAVI: A total of 484 from the sixth batch of Agniveers of the Maratha Light Infantry Regiment Centre (MLIRC) in Belagavi, passed out in a grand ceremony on Thursday, marking the completion of 31 weeks of rigorous training.
The Agniveers showcased their skills and physical prowess in an impressive passing-out parade. Medals were awarded to outstanding recruits, and the recruits took an oath of allegiance to the nation. The event was witnessed by proud family members and locals, who cheered and applauded the young soldiers.
The event was attended by Additional Director General of Recruitment, Major General Haribhaskaran Pillai, and MLIRC Commander, Brigadier Jaydeep Mukherji, among other dignitaries.
