A 91-year-old French pensioner, Raymond Landy, has made a remarkable decision with his €1m inheritance. After receiving the sum, equivalent to around £750k, following his brother's passing in 2022, he chose to donate it to the church in his hometown of La Chapelle-sur-Aveyron.

This selfless act has left both the village and his nursing home in awe.
