The League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County is inviting the community to an open forum on Dec. 11 to hear from local leaders in Santa Maria.

“The League of Women Voters is interested in hearing directly from local leaders about their priorities, both short and long term, for our communities,” said Tracy Beard, vice president of the League’s Voter Services Committee.

“These two forums will provide an opportunity for local leaders to share their goals for our community and for members of the community to ask questions and hear responses."

The Thursday, Dec. 11 forum will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, starting at 5:30 p.m. The forum is free and open to the public, and includes bilingual options with Spanish interpretation.
