New Delhi: Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia and India enjoy relationships "in most sensitive areas" in regard to Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to India.

"We share technologies. This is a completely unique phenomenon," Peskov asserted.

He also called India Russia's "great partner".

Speaking about India-Russia partnership, Peskov said, "This is a privileged strategic partnership. India is indeed our great partner."

These remarks come as President Putin arrives in Delhi.

As Putin landed in India he received a ceremonial welcome upon arrival, highlighting the strong ties between India and Russia. He was received at the airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who broke protocol to welcome the Russian President.
