SULLIVAN CO.. — The suspect involved in an officer-involved shooting that occurred on November 18, 2025, has been placed under arrest after being released from an Indianapolis hospital. Kylan A. Holbert, 31, of Sullivan, was taken into custody by the Indiana State Police and is now incarcerated at the Sullivan County Jail.

The incident, which remains an active investigation led by Indiana State Police detectives, occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18th, in the 600 block of South Bell Street in Sullivan. Officers from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department and Sullivan City Police Department were dispatched to the residence in response to a possible domestic disturbance.
