A Strictly Come Dancing star has shared their frightening reality after they were forced to undergo emergency surgery during their stint on the show.

Peep show actor, Robert Webb, was forced to leave the dance competition just days before the fourth live show in 2021. He was partnered with Dianne Buswell at the time.

When Robert decided he must leave, both him and Dianne shared a statement as the star said he "deeply regret[ted]" having to "let [Dianne] down."

The pair shared how Robert could dance no longer due to health issues after a major heart surgery. The operation was just a year prior to the actor stepping food onto the Strictly ballroom.
