Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio sat down with his One Battle After Another director, Paul Thomas Anderson, for an Esquire magazine cover story a few months ago. During the interview, he revealed that his biggest career regret was turning down a role in Anderson’s Boogie Nights nearly 30 years ago. He had to reject the offer because was already committed to what would go on to become the legendary film Titanic.
Now, in a recent interview with Deadline, he clarified his stance and explained that it came from the ‘standpoint’ of just being an admirer of Paul’s work. He also explained that he would have loved to be a part of both Boogie Nights and Titanic, but unfortunately, he couldn’t.
