Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent broke down in tears whilst opening up about a devastating family bereavement.

The star, who played Sophie Webster on the ITV soap Corrie from 2004 to 2019, spoke candidly about losing her grandmother in October 2024.

The 32 year old was close to her relative, and revealed at the time that her family's "whole world was turned upside down". More than a year later, Brooke admitted she's still grappling with her grief, though she's gradually finding it easier to cope.
