Martin Lewis has spoken to Chancellor Rachel Reeves following the Autumn Budget, asking her about the upcoming consultation over Lifetime ISAs.

LISAs allow savers to put away a maximum of £4,000 annually, with a 25 per cent top-up provided by the government.

This means that if anyone achieves the full £4,000, they will be given an extra £1,000 for either their first time home or retirement.

However, the homes are capped at a value of £450,000, something Martin has long rallied against.

During a conversation with the Chancellor on his ITV show, Martin read out a viewer question, saying: "Could you ask the Chancellor why they can't change the £450,000 cap on lifetime ISAs before the consultation?
