Quentin Tarantino came for blood when he revealed, in no uncertain terms, just how much he dislikes Paul Dano, who he dubbed the “weakest male actor,” and the other actors he “really can’t stand.”
The two-time Oscar-winning screenwriter, 62, shared his hot take while revealing his top films of the 21st century — which featured “There Will Be Blood” at number 5 — during an episode of Bret Easton Ellis’ self-titled podcast.
“‘There Will be Blood’ would stand a good chance at being no. or no. 2 if it didn’t have a big, giant flaw in it … and the flaw is Paul Dano,” said the “Pulp Fiction” writer-director, according to multiple outlets. “[Dano] is weak sauce, man. He is the weak sister. … He’s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy.”
