Age is just a number for former Ipswich Town captain Carlos Edwards, who is still playing at 47 with non-league side Lakenheath.
The 92-cap Trinidad and Tobago international reunited with his former Hadleigh United manager Steve Holder at the ninth-tier club.
Edwards, who has also played in Suffolk non-league with Woodbridge and Bury Town, is a regular for the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division outfit.
The Trinidadian began his professional career in the UK with Wrexham in 2000, before spells at Luton Town and Sunderland. He left the Black Cats to join Ipswich from in 2009.
The move cost the Blues alongside Grant Leadbitter for a combined fee of £4 million. Edwards made 192 appearances for Town, initially as a winger under Roy Keane.
