Property owners are being encouraged to adopt an age-old Scandinavian habit that helps ward off mould growth in homes whilst simultaneously making residents 'feel happier and healthier'.
Whilst mould can appear in homes throughout the year, the chillier autumn and winter periods often see people bringing washing indoors to dry and switching on heating systems, which can trigger new mould development if proper precautions aren't taken. Drying damp clothing inside releases moisture into the atmosphere, and as mould flourishes in humid conditions, this extra dampness can cause spores to spread in your property .
