Singer Palak Muchhal has spoken out about the postponement of her brother Palash Muchhal's wedding to Indian women's cricket team vice-captain Smriti Mandhana. The wedding, originally set for November 23, has been delayed due to health emergencies affecting both families. Mandhana's father, Shriniwas, fell ill on the day of the wedding and was hospitalized. Following this, Palash was also admitted to a hospital in Sangli and later transferred to Mumbai for further treatment.

In her first public comments on the situation, Palak expressed the emotional challenges both families are facing. She stated, "I think the families have been through a very tough time. We would like to believe in positivity at this time and spread positivity as much as we can. We are also trying to stay strong."

The couple had already participated in pre-wedding celebrations, but the unexpected health issues led to the decision to postpone the ceremony. Following the announcement, Mandhana removed all wedding-related posts from her Instagram account, while some photos remain on Palash's social media.

Both Shriniwas and Palash have since been discharged from the hospital and are recovering. However, the families have not yet set a new date for the wedding.
