A new four-lane divided highway is in the works just east of Calgary, and the project will make travel much easier out towards the hamlet of Conrich and the surrounding areas.
The new highway will involve realigning Township Road 250, a key corridor in Rocky View County and adding more lanes, turning it into a more efficient route for local residents, commuters, and commercial traffic.
The plan involves shifting the existing roadway and expanding it into a divided four-lane highway. The estimated cost of the project is just over $21,000,000, and construction is scheduled to begin in late 2026.
The project will roll out in two phases. Phase 1 will see the construction of the first two lanes of the new highway. It will also include a new CN Rail crossing and a signalized intersection wher
