Bend was recently ranked as one of the best ski towns in the United States in USA Today's 2025 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards .

USA Today gathered data from a group of industry experts who nominated the top places for skiing and snowboarding that exhibit the best in food, drink, and lifestyle in the U.S.

Categories included best ski town, best place for snow tubing, best place for snowboarding, best ski hotel, best ski resort, best ski restaurant, best apres-ski bar, best ski school, best ski shop and best cross-country ski resort.

Bend was the only town in Oregon that was recognized by USA Today, ranking in the best ski town category.
