It looks like GloRilla won't be making an R&B album after all.

In an interview Complex published on Wednesday, December 3, the Memphis rapper was asked about her post on X, in which she told fans she would be taking a new direction for an upcoming album. She said she would focus on making R&B music, but she was playing around.

"I was lying," Glo said around the 4-minute mark. "I was trolling because they be trying to talk about me being a R&B artist so I was like 'Ok since you talking about it, I will be doing a whole R&B album."

GloRilla does have some R&B features on her debut album Glorious . She recruited esteemed singers like Muni Long , Fridayy , Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music to jump on the album. She even sampled Keyshia Cole's "Love" on he
