Fatima “Fran” Frances Hager, 64, passed away on Nov. 27, 2025, at her home.

Fran was born on May 20, 1961, in Curitiba, Brazil, to Youssef and Arabie Tassi. Later she moved to Canada where she met Alex Hager. On Sep. 1, 1976, they were married and settled on the family farm near Michigan, ND. Together they raised their three children, Karen, Chad, and Michael.

Fran enjoyed her job as a manager at Farmers Union. She was a well loved pillar in the community with patrons stopping frequently to visit with her. She loved gardening and listening to music. She was known for her amazing cooking skills. Fran was a gracious hostess, always hosting family gatherings and holidays. She welcomed family and friends to the farm anytime. She had an infectious laugh and was the center of many fun family m
