Jets cornerback Kris Boyd, who was shot in the abdomen on Nov. 16 , made a surprise visit to the facility on Wednesday.
Boyd’s visit came one week after announcing on social media that he had returned to the hospital “due to health issues.”
That’s the last update on Boyd’s condition.
“It was really cool,” Jets special teams coordinator Chris Banjo said. “Very, very thankful that he’s alive. Good to see his face, good to see him smiling.”
Boyd, 29, was shot following a dispute on Nov.16 outside of the Asian restaurant Sei Less on West 38th Street around 2 a.m. The bullet traveled to his lung and Boyd was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with then critical injuries.
