WAUPACA, Wis. (WBAY) - Three people from Waupaca and Portage counties are facing charges for the illegal hunting of deer this year.

Ethan Lashua from Iola and Ian Johnson from Amherst, both 18, and Landan Fuhs, 17, from Scandinavia, are each charged with:

Hunting deer when hunting season was closed

Illegally shining lights on deer or bears (2 counts)

Blocking a conservation warden’s investigation

All three are scheduled to appear in Waupaca County court on Wednesday. The charges are misdemeanors.
