FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Another very cold day in store today with highs expected in the low 20s. Our average high for the start of December should be the low 40s, and so far we have not even gotten close to that to start off the month. Wind chills will drop again tonight as most of the area will wake up with subzero wind chills, some as low as -10.
This weekend will bring back overcast skies after a bit of sun today. Temperatures will return near 30 degrees, but stay cold into next week. We do have one small chance for a few snow flurries on Sunday before our next best chance for snow. I do want to give the First Alert to that chance for snow Tuesday and Wednesday next week, but as temperatures warm up those snow showers could mix with rain showers.
