Madison Prewett is shedding light on why she proudly calls herself a “submissive wife” in her marriage to Grant Troutt.

“I learned a lot about being a submissive wife, [which] was a challenge for me at first,” Prewett said on Monday’s episode of her “Stay True” podcast .

“Now, it’s, like, my favorite thing. I love talking about submission,” she added.

The “Bachelor” alum got candid with her podcast guest, Bryce Crawford, about the struggles of her engagement to Troutt, 29, and how it challenged them “in a lot of different ways.”

“There was just a lot going on, even in our personal lives outside of engagement season,” she said. “[Grant’s] grandmother passed away [and] there was just a lot going on in a short time.”
