A Brevard County man faces federal charges after being caught with dozens of guns and thousands of pounds of a drug that authorities say is “15 times more powerful than morphine.”
Brevard officials worked with the DEA, ATF and the Palm Bay Police Department to arrest 26-year-old Maxwell Horvath, according to a Facebook post from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials called the arrest “breaking bad on steroids,” a nod to the television show “Breaking Bad” featuring a crystal meth dealing character named Walter White who sold drugs worldwide.
Authorities recorded a video showing the high-powered rifles they confiscated, in addition to around 92,000 pounds of a substance called 7-OH, which is illegal in Florida, worth nearly $5 mill
