Everything Rohit Sharma has done in the past few months, losing weight, scoring runs and agreeing to play domestic cricket, is for one goal, he wants to play the 2027 World Cup and win the only ICC trophy he still doesn’t have.

At 38, and after retiring from T20Is and Test cricket, Rohit is putting all his focus and effort into winning the next 50-over World Cup. He came very close in 2023, when India won 10 matches in a row but lost to Australia in the final.
