ADA COUNTY, Idaho — A 32-year-old man was arrested on Nov. 7 on charges of sexual battery of a minor, 16 to 17 years old. At this time, law enforcement believes there may be more victims.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) on Thursday announced 32-year-old Akua Wells was arrested on four counts of the felony charge of sexual battery of a minor.

In the case in which ACSO arrested, the victim was known to the suspect. But as the investigation continued, detectives identified an additional victim in Boise. The Boise Police Department (BPD) is conducting a related investigation.

Ada County investigators believe there may be more victims between the ages of 15 and 17 years old.
