Jammu : The Lieutenant Governor, J&K, Manoj Sinha, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Mizoram Governor and eminent lawyer, Swaraj Kaushal. In a tweet on X, the LG described Kaushal as a distinguished public servant who dedicated his life towards the service of the nation with commitment and integrity, while, leaving behind a legacy of service and legal excellence.

Extending his sympathies to the bereaved family, the LG conveyed heartfelt condolences to Kaushal’s daughter Bansuri Swaraj who is a Member of Parliament, and prayed for strength to the family in this hour of grief. He said the demise of Swaraj Kaushal is a great loss to the country, and his contributions to public life will be remembered with respect and gratitude.
