A Ryanair boss has today named the 'essential' flight route out of Liverpool that the budget airline counts as one of its most important. Chief commercial officer Jason McGuinness was in Liverpool today for a major announcement about new routes that the company will begin operating out of John Lennon Airport next summer.
Those three routes will see passengers flown from Liverpool to the Polish capital of Warsaw and Albania's capital, Tirana, as well as the major Moroccan city of Marrakesh. In a sign of its confidence in the city and its airport, Ryanair is adding a sixth plane to its Liverpool fleet.
