Police have cordoned off a street in Glasgow following a horror crash outside a school this evening. Emergency services were called to Kirklee Road, outside Kelvinside Academy, after the alarm was raised at around 4.10pm on Thursday, December 4. ‌

A picture taken from the scene showed a uniformed officer standing at an area of the road which had been taped off. The road has been closed off at its junction with Ford Road and Bellshaugh Road. ‌

Kelvinside Academy is a private school in the west end which has a capacity of over 600 pupils. The incident happened shortly after classes finished up for the day. ‌

It's currently unknown if there are any injuries suffered as a result of the crash . Emergency services remain in attendance and motorists are asked to fin
