California officials are warning people about wild mushrooms after a series of hospitalizations.
KSBW , a local news outlet covering California’s Monterey County, reported that seven people in the area were hospitalized this weekend after ingesting wild white cap mushrooms on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Salinas Valley Health, one of the hospitals that treated some affected patients, confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on the same day.
