Robert L. Bergeron Sr. was born in 1941 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family who loved him deeply on Dec. 2, 2025.

Born to Louis and Ruth (Darling) Bergeron, Bob lived a life rooted in loyalty, tradition, and showing up for the people who mattered most. He was the beloved husband of Jennie (Losardo) Bergeron and was rarely far from her side over 61 years of marriage. Together, they shared many happy years camping all over New England.

He was the proud father of the late Robert L. Bergeron Jr. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Rachel Bergeron. He was a devoted grandfather to Emily Murray, her husband Derek, and Matthew Bergeron, and a very proud Great-Grampie to Olivia and Camden Murray. These roles meant everything to him.
