Ireland and Spain have pulled out of the Eurovision Song Contest after Israel was given the green light to participate. Other nations such as the Netherlands and Slovenia have confirmed they are also no longer taking part.

Eurovision was thrust into chaos in May, after Israel's act Yuval Raphael finished second, topping the popular vote. This lead several countries to call for voting reform amid allegations Israel had manipulated the vote in order to win.
